In the springs here, we get some pretty harsh wind storms. Today we've had winds of 25 to 35 with gusts up to 40. Might not seem like a lot. But it's blowing some of the shingles off of our roof. Now getting that fixed is going to be an extra expense that will probably take the rest of our tiny tax return. Money that I was going to use to try to get a start on fencing in the rest of this property. The wind has also pulled the tarps off of the sheep shelters. Luckily it's not going to rain tonight so the sheep and hay should be ok. Of course, it is also blowing other stuff all around our yard so I'm going have to clean all that up.
Most people think of spring as flowers blooming and the sun shining and the grass growing. Here it's raining and muddy and windy. The spring can kiss my ass.
